Congratulations to our GEP girls for passing board exams! E-mail

The tribal girls from nearby villages staying and studying at TRU's Shivrajpur campus, part of the Girls Education Programme (GEP) or Abhinav Kanya Shikshan Karyakram, did spectacularly well in the 10th and 12th grade board exams. Two girls each in 12th and 10th grades scored 2nd and 3rd ranks in their entire divisions! We are extremely proud of all the girls, who worked hard all year to achieve this success.

  1. Std 12th: Mittal Rathva, an Adivasi girl from village Bapotia, has scored second highest in her school.  She has scored 68% in the common stream (Arts stream).  The third scorer Ranjan Rathva is also one of our girls.
  2. Std 10th : The number 2 and 3 are from AKSK with 76.7% and 74.3% marks.  Both of them now want to go to study in science stream.  They plan to stay at with us but study at Halol, the nearby city.
  3. All standards i.e. from 8th to 12th only one girl has failed in exams in one subject only.
