TRU has decided to fade out their services and comprehensive health program from a group of villages in Panchmahals. This decision came out of the realization that correct processes which can change people's health behaviour have been instituted. TRU will be focusing their efforts on a new set of villages.

TRU has decided to fade out their services and comprehensive health program from a group of villages in Panchmahals. This decision came out of the realization that correct processes which can change people's health behaviour have been instituted. An evaluation was done to know if people are in knowledge of basic health messages or not. It was found that people understand most important components of community health regarding child health, maternal care, immunisation, prevention of communicable diseases, etc. Having set the correct processes and bringing change in people's behavior regarding morbidity and health habits, TRU is confident that now the community will be able to take care of their primary health problems. TRU will be focusing their efforts on a new set of villages.

However TRU will continue their minimum presence through a dispensary, some monitoring activities and occasional educational campaigns. This will keep people updated upon most critical matters in health and also help people to use other opportunities in the govt health services. Therefore now TRU is in process to phase out from the Pavi Jetpur , the tribal block of Vadodara to further interior tribal blocks of Panch Mahals district. Panch Mahals is one of the 20 most backward districts of India.
